The Lusaka Team

Paul has served on a number of Executive Committees and Boards since 2003 and currently has the privilege of serving as a Non-Executive Director of Professional Insurance Corporation Zambia PLC, a position he has held since March 2021. Paul has been a Resident of Zambia for the past twenty years and brings with him over 30 years of financial services experience in five sub-Sahara African markets. His enviable professional network will undoubtedly be put to good use as he and the AgLeaseCo Team take the business of mechanising Zambia's Small Scale and Emergent Farmers, to the next level. Paul holds a MSc, Global Management from Salford University, Manchester.

Peter joined the senior management team of AgLeaseCo in 2019 as the Head of Finance and was quickly promoted to the Chief Financial Officer position. He is a graduate of the Zambia Centre of Accountancy Studies (ZCAS University) and the Zambia Institute of Management (ZIMM) and has almost 20 years of experience in the fields of accountancy and finance. Peter manages the relationship with the Bank of Zambia which is the supervisor of AgLeaseCo as a non-banking financial institution.

Mulundu joined the AgLeaseCo team in early 2020 as a Regional Support Officer but very rapidly moved up to her current position of Head of Risk and Operations based in the Lusaka office. Mulundu graduated from Mulungushi University with a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Business Management and then went on to obtain a post graduate diploma in Advanced Agriculture from Ramat Negev International Training Centre for Advanced Agriculture.

Lawrence Banda joined Agricultural Leasing Company in 2021 as a bookkeeper. He has progressed and he is now the Finance Manager. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accountancy from the University of Lusaka. While in school, he earned an award for his exemplary academic performance. In the future, he plans to pursue a professional qualification in accountancy to acquire more knowledge and skills to serve the company better.

Chinso joined the senior management team of AgLeaseCo in 2019. He brought 15 years of experience working in the Zambian small-scale farming sector with his background in marketing and equipment sales. Chinso manages the dynamic field team which represents AgLeaseCo’s interests in every province of Zambia.

Tumelo joined the AgLeaseCo team in April 2022 as Risk Analyst based in the Lusaka office. She graduated from Mulungushi University with a Bachelor’s degree of Science in Agricultural Business Management. Her short-term goal is to further her knowledge and skill set by achieving a professional qualification in Risk and Project Management.

Sarah’s journey at AgLeaseCo began in 2019 as an Administration Assistant, where she gained valuable experience in company operations. She returned in January 2022 as the Sales Coordinator, bringing dedication and valuable insights to her new role. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Development Studies from the University of Zambia (2019).

Fatima started off as a bookkeeper at AgLeaseCo and is currently Accounts Assistant. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance and is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Economics and Finance.
